Structural Analysis for the Development and Manufacture of Polymeric Porous Membranes.
“Observation of the Manufacturing Process and Pore Structure by X-ray”
In developing and manufacturing polymeric materials, we need to understand and control
the complicated structural changes in the manufacturing process. As an in-house analytical
institute, we are developing X-ray analysis techniques for in-situ observation of
manufacturing processes and visualization of nm-scale structures in products. In this talk, I
will introduce examples of structural analysis for polymeric porous membranes.
